Lancers:  Today is the third of four student assemblies held in the auditorium during the second half of second block.  Please be sure that you attend on the assigned date because space is limited.  An announcement will be made for classes to be dismissed around 9:55 a.m.

Students are reminded that the deadline for submitting a schedule change request form to Student Services is 2:30 p.m. on Friday, August 28th.

Attention band and guard members:  This is a reminder that uniform fees and forms, fundraising orders, and theme shirt orders are all due today.  See Mr. Lloyd with any questions.

We will be distributing the spring supplement to students who bought the 2015 yearbook during all lunch shifts on Friday, August 28th outside the cafeteria.  Please remember to stop by and pick one up. If you are not here Friday, please stop by Room A206, next week, to pick one up.

If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior with an interest in architecture, construction, or engineering, apply THIS WEEK to be part of the ACE Mentor Program.  This is a year-long program where students from all over the county work in teams to develop solutions to design problems with the help of engineering professionals.  The meetings are held twice a month in the early evening at a local business.   To apply, go to www.acementor.org.  You must apply this week!   See Ms. Radil-Harris in Room C103 or any Project Lead the Way teacher for details.

Applications for Linganore’s Math Honor Society, known as Mu Alpha Theta, are available outside of Room A140.  Please see Mrs. Purgason with any questions.
