Congratulations to the Latin students for their success at the first Maryland Junior Classical League competition of the year! The Latin I team of Allie Hudson, Bekah Boswell, Penny Owens, and Gia Haemmerle won second place for their level. The Latin Club would also like to thank everyone who contributed to our Toga Trick-or-Treat last week, helping to raise over $150 for UNICEF!
Over the weekend, Shippensburg University announced the winners of the “Scholastics 144” contest. Congratulations to junior, Kennedy Todd, grade 11, who won first place for her ceramic mixed media work ‘Heart Tree’, and to senior, Marla Wills, who received an Honorable Mention for her digital photo ‘Vapor’.
Tomorrow at 7:10 pm, JV ice hockey will take on NPQS at Skate Frederick for their first game of the season. Come and cheer on your team. Admission is free!
Good luck to the field hockey team as they travel to Westminster today to play in the Regional Finals. The game starts at 3:00 pm. Team – remember the bus leaves today at 1:30 pm.
