This week during all lunch shifts, SGA will be raising money for Relay for Life with the fundraiser Quarters for Cancer. There are five levels of collecting. Once each level is reached, teachers who have volunteered will participate in an embarrassing act. Bring you spare change to lunch to participate.

The last day to turn in permission forms to shadow a CTC program will be this Friday, February 20th. If you are still interested in shadowing, please pick up a permission slip from Ms. Riley in Student Services.

German Club and Honor Society Meeting for today is canceled.

Spanish Honors Society will NOT be meeting today

This past weekend, the Linganore orienteering team competed in the NJROTC  national orienteering championship, located in Vasquez Rocks, California. The team had a successful competition, with India Pack placing third in the 9th grade female category, and Samantha Buckman placing ninth in the Varsity female category.

Tomorrow the Table Tennis Club will meet after school outside of the Main Gym.  If you want to compete, or you would just like to play, join them from 2:30 – 4:00pm.

Boys varsity basketball took a devastating blow last friday night at Oakdale with a loss of 39 to 74. Better luck next time boys.

Varsity wrestling won a great game at their senior night here at home against Walkersville last Saturday with a score of 47 to 27, great job lancers!

The Pom and Dance team attended their second competition of the season this past weekend at River Hill High School.   They received 1st Place in all five dances that they competed. The captains for each dance also placed in 1st and 2nd.  Congratulations Ladies on a successful Competition!  They will be going out to Marriotts Ridge this coming Saturday for their final regular season competition.
