Seniors are reminded that Friday, December 4th, is the deadline for submitting transcript and counselor requests for college applications with a January 1st deadline.  Turn in orange request forms to Ms. Riley in Student Services.

Attention juniors:  The United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (“you-sam-rid”) at Ft. Detrick, is now accepting applications for their challenging scientific research internships.  This opportunity is similar to the National Cancer Institute internships that were recently advertised. Eight weeks of full-time, paid training this summer is required and the internship will continue for two periods, both semesters, during the student’s senior year (for weighted credit).  To apply for a USAMRIID internship, you must be: a junior, age 17 by June 20, 2016, and a U.S. citizen.  A Find Out First was recently sent out with the link to the application.  See any science teacher, Ms. Radil-Harris, or Mr. Brown for more information.  Completed applications are due by January 20.

Attention all boys interested in playing lacrosse:  An informational meeting will be held tomorrow, December 3rd, at 2:30 pm in the media center.
