This week during all lunch shifts, SGA will be raising money for Relay for Life with the fundraiser Quarters for Cancer. There are five levels of collecting. Once each level is reached, teachers who have volunteered will participate in an embarrassing act. The first level is $100. If we reach the goal, Mr. Lake will teach in an ugly toupee Bring your spare change to lunch to participate.

The last day to turn in permission forms to shadow a CTC program will be this Friday, February 20th. Please pick up a permission slip from Ms. Riley in Student Services if interested.

Tonight is our final Unos night for Mr Linganore. You can pick up the ticket at lunch if you plan to attend. Come out and support your favorite candidate!

Congratulations to April Hopkins who is one of 10 finalists in Frederick county selected for the Elizabeth Barker Delaplaine Award for Young Artists.  Her bronze bracelet,”Birds in Flight” will be on display for the month of march at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Center.

If you are in the National Honors Society and you did not pick up an agenda from the theater yesterday please stop by C221 to do so. The talent show committee meeting has been rescheduled for today at 2:30 in Mrs. Sands room .

Today the Table Tennis Club will meet after school outside of the Main Gym. If you want to compete, or you would just like to play, join them from 2:30 – 4:00pm.

All varsity and JV basketball games against Westminster last night have been postponed until further notice due to the weather.

Our varsity ice hockey players skating for the Frederick County Co-Op team won the regional finals, 10-2. The Maryland Semi-State Championship game is Monday, February 23 at 5pm at the Gardens Ice House in Laurel MD.  The JV Ice Hockey team plays there tomorrow, Feb 20, at 7:20. Come out and cheer our teams to victory and to the state championships!
