Thank you to everyone who helped create, plan, direct and execute our parade on Saturday. It was the best one yet.  Hopefully, you were there to see all of the great looking entries!   The results from the float judging contest are in:  3rd place goes to the Class of 2017, 2nd place goes to the FFA, and 1st place was awarded to the Class of 2019.

Spirit week kicks off today!  Thanks to everyone who is showing their spirit today by wearing your PJ’s.  A reminder that tomorrow’s dress is themed “Back to the Future”.  So, make sure to dress from the 1980’s – the year the movie came out. You can also dress from the 1950’s or the 1800s – other eras from the movie’s past.

Hopefully, you got a chance to see the class paintings on the hill facing the stadium.  If not, check them out!  The judges have weighed in and the results are:  3rd place is a tie between the Classes of 2019 & 2016, 2nd place goes to the Class of 2017 and 1st place is awarded to the Class of 2018.  Great job everyone!

Lunch competitions begin this week!  Don’t miss the fun competition between the classes in some “minute to win it” style contests.  If you would like to compete, see your class president.

Students wishing to attend a quiet study hall instead of the Pep Rally on Thursday can sign up in the Media Center.  Students will be expected to work quietly on their own.

Congratulations to junior Brooke Bennett who was named “Student of the Month” for September in recognition of her academic achievement and community service.

Good luck to girls field hockey as they take on Walkersville in their last regular season home games tonight.  The JV game begins at 5:30 pm and the Varsity game begins at 7:00 pm.

And finally, congratulations to the Varsity football team on a very exciting win over Oakdale Friday night.
