Fourteen LHS students juried into the Shippenburg University Scholastic 144 show

Once again the Art department at LHS is successful. Each of the 14 students that submitted work into the Shippenburg University Scholastic 144 show have advanced to have a chance to win on October 31st (when the winner will be announced at the opening reception). Work was submitted from Frederick and Washington counties in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Students entered work no larger than 144 inches, from ceramic sculptures, jewelry, photography, or drawings/paintings.
Last year, then senior Alexandra Hammersla placed 2nd: winning $300 for her ceramic piece.
