Nightmare after nightmare. The storyline of this year’s tournament has been upsets and Cinderella teams busting brackets all over the nation. Four teams are left standing heading into championship weekend. Here is what you can expect:

Saturday, 6:09 pm, (1) Florida vs. (7) Connecticut

Florida is riding a 30-game win streak and led by senior guard Scottie Wilbekin who has been nothing but stellar this season for the Gators. Florida also has a strong inside presence in senior center Patric Young. Shabazz Napier is literally carrying the Huskies on his back as he is averaging 23.3 points, 4.5 assists and 6.0 rebounds since the tournament started. Connecticut was the last team to defeat Florida back in December.  Florida will be on upset alert on Saturday.

Saturday, 8:49 pm, (2) Wisconsin vs. (8) Kentucky

Who had this matchup in their Final-Four? I sure didn’t. John Calipari appears to have his young Kentucky squad believing they can reach new heights, and Wisconsin coming off a big win against top-seeded Arizona should make this a very intriguing matchup.

It has been a long hard battle, but Coach Kraft has officially defeated my bracket with the score of 66-63–my champion has been knocked out (Michigan State) and I am left with no remaining teams. Congratulations Coach Kraft, but watch out next year as you will have more competition to come.
