Don’t forget that the national Day of Silence is this Friday, April 11th. If you still wish to participate in this silent and peaceful protest, see Ms. Dillon with any further questions. Here’s a quick video to tell you more.

Today is Election Day! Please take time today to make your selection for the next student leaders at LHS. Follow the link on the LHS webpage or stop by C101 during lunch to vote. All students in grades 9-11 are able to vote for LHS elections. This is a perfect opportunity to use BYOD with your students.  They can easily vote on phones and tablets.

The senior class is having a car wash this Saturday to help raise money for graduation. The car wash will be held from 9-3 at the New Market Food Lion. There isn’t a set price, they are just accepting donations of any amount.

Did you know that over 20 million children receive free or reduced-price lunches each school day? To help, let’s drop off canned food donations in the main office or the bus and athletic entrances. Help us reach our goal of 2,000 cans!

If you took AP English Language and Composition last fall and are taking the Exam this May, the first after-school review session will be held today after school at 2:30 in Mr. Tringali’s room.  If you are unable to attend, a schedule of review sessions is posted on Mr. Tringali’s LHS teacher web page and on Mr. Tringali’s door.

AP Environmental Science students from 1st semester will have Review Session #10 today at 2:20 p.m. in Room A139 after school for the National Exam.

Today is the last day to purchase prom tickets! Tickets are on sale today during all lunch shifts for the price of $40 per ticket.  See Mr. Brown at lunch today if you didn’t get your tickets yet.

Remember to clear any obligations you may have with any teacher in order to attend prom. Questions?  See Mrs. Hirschy in room C126.

Until next time, have a wispy Wednesday, Linganore.
