Congratulations to many Linganore students for having their artwork displayed in the Scholastics 144 Exhibition at Shippensburg University in the Kauffman Gallery opening November 1st.

All Seniors! The deadline for choosing your senior picture that will appear in the 2015 yearbook is TODAY, otherwise a default will be picked for you. Directions for doing this are in your proof package and can be done directly with Victor O’Neill Studio’s either online or by phone. Please call Victor O’Neill Studios if you have any questions.

The engineering/robotics team will have a meeting right after school until 4:30 in Mr. Bergeron’s room today. Anyone who is interested in joining the team is encouraged to come.

Homecoming Dance Tickets are on sale all this week.  The dance theme is “Under the Sea” and will be on October 25th.  Tickets can be purchased for $20 each at all lunch shifts. Have any Questions?  See Mr. Brown.

And now for sports related news…

The JV and freshman football teams will be traveling to Oakdale for a game tonight. Freshman begins at 5 pm and JV at 7pm. Come out and support the teams!

Are you ready for a high impact, fast paced game? If so, come out to the stadium tonight for Field Hockey’s Senior Night against Oakdale. The JV game starts at 5:30 pm. Senior Night begins at 6:40 pm and the game will start at 7 pm. Good luck ladies!

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity Volleyball teams on their victories over Brunswick last night.

Tomorrow the Volleyball team will host Walkersville in their Annual Dig Pink match. Their goal is to raise awareness about breast cancer and to raise funds to support research for breast cancer. They hope you can join them as they recognize and celebrate the lives of those who have fought and are fighting so bravely. Wear your pink! JV starts at 6 and Varsity at 7.

Both JV and Varsity girls soccer beat Walkersville yesterday. Varsity won with a score of 5-0 and JV with a score of 7-0. Congratulations ladies!

Also, Both the boys JV and Varsity soccer teams crushed Walkersville last night! JV won with a score of 4-0 and Varsity with a score of 2-1! Come out to support them at their next home game tomorrow night as they take on Middletown.
