Due to the impending weather, the Science National Honor Society workday at the Audubon sanctuary this Saturday has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Linganore Art department made a clean sweep in the Women’s Civic Club Youth Art Program Countywide Art Competition, taking the 6 top awards. The winners of the Drawing & Painting category are: Megan McKee, in third place, Laura Shumate, in second place, and Megan Newcomer in first place. The winners of the Digital Media category are: Lexi Day in third place, Claire Soper in second place, and Brad Eisenhauer in first place. Congratulations to all these students. Their works will now move forward to the regional competition.

Congratulations to the Linganore basketball teams who defeated Middletown last night. The Boys Freshman team took home a final score of 44-41. The Girls JV team won with a score of 43-39, and the Girls Varsity won 54-49. Great job Lancers!
