All second semester band students, Fundraiser packets are available from Mr. Lloyd in the band room.  Please stop by and get yours as soon as possible.

For the fourth consecutive year, Latin club will have a team at the Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes on October 12. If you can help, they’d appreciate it! You can join our team or make a donation at main.diabetes.org . If you want to make a donation by check, bring it to room C220. Please make checks payable to the American Diabetes Association.

There will be a new bus line up starting today! The line up will be posted in the cafeteria and on main street. Check it out at some point today!

October is German-American month!  Did you know that 19th-century German immigrants brought organized gymnastics to America and introduced the concept of physical education to American school systems? Listen up for more interesting facts like this one all this month!

Attention Class of 2018! Volunteers are needed to participate in the Homecoming parade and hill and banner decorating.  Please see Ms. Blum or Mr. Hines if you’re interested.

And now for sports related news…

JV field hockey beat Tuscarora 1-0 last night to end their 5 game losing streak. Great job to Olivia Wolfe for scoring the goal and the assist by Shylo Arneson.

Varsity Field Hockey has a game at Tuscarora against Frederick at 5PM today. Good luck ladies!

Congratulations to both the boys JV and Varsity soccer teams on their nail biting wins yesterday against North Hagerstown. JV with a score of 2-0 and Varisty with a score of 3-2. Keep up the great work boys!

Don’t forget that the Varsity Football Game is TONIGHT against Frederick High School and it is a Red Out. Come out to support our undefeated Football team, as well as see our great cheerleaders… poms team… band… and colorguard.  Once again, the game is a red out. Good luck tonight boys!
