Students interested in joining the Unified Track and Field team should plan to attend an important informational meeting  tomorrow at 2:30pm in room A133. See Ms. Delizia in room C-214 or Ms. Novatny in room C-200 for further questions.

This is a reminder that the Mu Alpha Theta meeting is rescheduled for Wednesday, March 12th at 6:45 a.m. in the auditorium. Please see Mrs. Purgason if you have a question.

Any student that would like to take an AP exam, but has not registered may do so this week.  Registration forms and payment should be given to Ms. Smith in the AP office.  Exam rosters will be posted in main street during the week of March 17-21.  Students that have registered for AP exams should verify that their name has been accurately recorded on each exam roster for which they have registered.  Any error found on the rosters should be reported to Ms.Smith.

The 33rd annual science and engineering fair will be held this month on the 22nd. The elementary portion of the fair will be held at Walkersville High School and the secondary portion (grades 6-12) will be held at Walkersville Middle. The elementary portion of the fair will be open to the public from 9:30 am – 1 pm. The 6-12 portion will be open from 3-4 pm with an awards ceremony at 4. The winner and runner up will move on to the International Science & Engineering Fair in Los Angeles from May 11-16, 2014.

This Saturday, fifteen LHS Seniors competed  in the annual Mr. Linganore competition. 67 seniors, and about 25 underclassman were involved to give a great performance to a sell-out crowd. After lots of hilarious competition the results were: 3rd place, Dan Beck, 2nd place, Jack Garabedian, and Mr. Linganore, Mark Shiderly. Visit thelance.org for Mr.Linganore pictures and videos.

LHS wrestlers, equipment turn in will be Tuesday directly after school at 2:15-2:30. please bring all your gear to the wrestling room for turn in. This will include all lockers being cleaned out.
