This week is National Classics Week, when Classics (Latin and Greek) students celebrate the birthday of Rome, the center of the ancient world. This year, the theme is the 7 hills of Rome. Today’s hill is the Palatine Hill, the home of the original Romans; it is the true birthplace of the Roman civilization. Wish Rome a Happy 2,767th birthday this year! Celebrate the founding of Rome by having a birthday celebration, and make it special by wearing a toga.
