Congratulations to Linganore’s Guitar Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Concert Band and Merry Tuba Christmas on their holiday concert last night! Great Job Lancers!

 

Applications for the summer volunteer program at the National Aquarium in Baltimore are due today! If you have any questions about this opportunity, see Ms. Radil-Harris in C103 today.

 

Members of the Science National Honor Society are reminded of the volunteer community service opportunity tomorrow Saturday, December 6, from 9 am – 12 pm at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary. Students are reminded to bring work gloves and tools.

 

The Pre-Vet Small Animal Class has just started their annual fundraising drive for the Frederick County Animal Control. They will be doing this fundraiser up until December 15th. Here’s a quick video highlighting the fundraiser.

 

The Character Counts Committee at Linganore High School invites the community to participate in our “Warming the Lancer Spirit”, Holiday Drive through Friday the 19th. Here’s how it works. A tree, located in the front office, will be the donation location for new hats, gloves, scarves, mittens, socks and slippers. The donations will decorate the Giving Tree. All donations will go directly to our Linganore families in need of assistance during this holiday season. Any questions contact Ms. Aburto

All boys interested in trying out for boys lacrosse this spring. There will be a preseason informational meeting for boys lax after school in the media center Monday, December 8. If you cannot make the meeting, please sign up with your name and email address on the list outside of C204. If you have any questions see Mrs. Shiderly.

 

Come out tonight at 7:00 to watch the Varsity basketball team play South Hagerstown at home. It is a white out!
