Throughout the week classes will be competing to be the most spirited class at LHS.
Points will be awarded throughout the week for participation in various events and activities. The class that accumulates the most points will be dubbed the most spirited class at LHS. They will also earn $400 to the class treasury along with the coveted ‘spirit stick’ at the pep rally.
One of the best ways to earn points is to participate in the spirit days. A point will be earned for every member of each class that participates each day.

- Tuesday- Jersey/team day
- Wednesday- Wacky tacky day

This year’s game will be a pink out to recognize breast cancer month in the community. All attending are asked to wear pink to show support of those fighting breast cancer and survivors.
The LHS Student Government Association will be selling PINK OUT t-shirts and wrist bands for the event. Pink wristbands cost $2 and read “Lancers Against Cancer- PINK OUT 2013”. The t-shirts are short sleeve pink shirts with a color imprint (see photo.) The shirts come in sizes S-3XL and are available for $13. There are limited numbers of shirts and are available for preorder at the school from SGA advisor Mr. Brown. They will be distributed at school on Thursday, October 10, at lunch and at the game. Any extras will be available at the SGA tent prior to the homecoming game Friday night. All proceeds from the SGA sales will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
At friday night’s game the Homecoming court will be recognized. The Homecoming king and queen will be announced at halftime. There will be a fireworks display at the end of the game.
The Homecoming dance (8:00pm-11:00pm Saturday evening) will conclude the festivities.
