Erik Chapman, Musical Reporter
Erik Chapman is a senior who distinguishes himself from others by growing a full beard.
In addition to being an active member of the Academic team, the Drama department, and the Spanish Honor Society, Erik is a rifle coach to grade-school aged kids at the Izaak Walton League in Damascus.
Most mornings, he can be found at WFMS, where he works as a junior interpreter for Spanish middle school students.
In addition to his academic and professional endeavours, Erik considers himself to be a music buff. This is evinced by the fact that he maintains a record collection of over 200 LPs and 35,000 digital songs. He attends at least one concert a month, and he closely follows the music reviewers Piero Scaruffi and Anthony Fantano.
Erik hopes to learn many things by taking journalism, and he hopes to be successful as a writer and reporter.
