**The Key Club and NEHS are hosting a book drive for Books for Africa. Collection  will take place from March 14th through the 30th. Drop off the books in Mr.  Brown’s room or by the front office. Check out the Lancer Lines for more  information regarding what types of books to donate! 

**Help us to find a cure for blood cancers by joining the “Clawing For A Cure”  campaign with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! We are raising money to  fund life-changing blood cancer research. Join us in saving lives! Posters with  donation information can be found in the cafeteria. 

**On to round 2! The Junior and Sophomore class is extending their canned food  drive through today to continue the fight against community hunger. Donation  bins for non-perishable food items are located in the cafeteria and front vestibule.  Anyone can donate and all donations support the Mt. Airy Net. Help knockout  hunger by donating today!

**Don’t forget. Today is the big day. The LHS Chess Club hosts the very first LHS  Chess Tournament today from 2:30 to 6:00 in the cafeteria. Come test your skills  against your fellow classmates and see whether you have what it takes to be  a Chess champion. Or stop by and cheer on your fellow classmates. Remember  there will be prizes awarded for the top three players. Please see Mr. Jensen in  A224 or email j[email protected] in order to sign up or just stop by to support  your friends.
