**The National Business Honor Society is the nation’s leading honor  program for exceptional students studying in the area of business  education. Join the Linganore NBHS chapter & prepare for your future.  We will organize field trips, guest speakers, & service projects.  Applications are available in Room A218 and Room A227. Complete & submit your application to Mrs. Parente or Mr. Beaver by September  30th. 

**Underclass photos will be taken September 30 and October 1st. If  you did not receive a pass to have your photo taken, please check  with your 4th period teacher. Make sure to report to the Auditorium at  your assigned time, & be sure to social distance while you wait for  your turn to be photographed. See Mrs. Hardister in room E130 with  any questions or concerns. 

**Just a reminder that TODAY is the LAST day for homecoming ticket  sales!!!!!! Tickets can be purchased during all lunch shifts!!! 

**Attention String Orchestra Students for next semester: Mr. Dye  would like to offer an opportunity for the Orchestra to perform in the  Winter Concert on December 2nd. If interested, please plan to attend  our first meeting on Thursday September 30 from 2:30 – 4pm in Mr.  Dye’s room, D113. See Mr. Dye for more details.

Auditions for All-County Choir, All-County Orchestra, and All-State  Ensembles, please see or contact Mr. Dye by the end of this week. 

**Attention Concert Choir Students: If you are interested in  performing with the Choir for the Winter Concert on December 2nd,  please see or contact Mr. Dye by the end of this week in room D113. 

**The Model UN club will be meeting on Thursday, September 30th  during PREP in room D101. Please see Mrs. Smithhisler with any  questions. 

**Attention Band Students! Sign-up sheets are available in the band  room for All-County Band, All-State Band, Towson University Honor  Band & Shepherd University Honor Band. If interested in any of these  groups, please sign up by Friday, October 1. 

**Congratulations to the Lancer Marching Band on their second place  finish at the Century High School competition this weekend!! Band  director Kevin Lloyd won the award for “favorite director.”  

**Homecoming Updates: 

Thank you to everyone who participated in or came out for our  Homecoming Parade. It was a huge success & Lancer Pride was  everywhere! Here are the results for the float judging: In 3rd place: FFA In 2nd place: Class of 2024

Thank you to everyone for taking part in Pajama Day today. Looks like  the competition for spirit dress is going to be a tight one! Help your  class score points & wear your patriotic best for tomorrow’s USA  Day.  

One last reminder that today is the LAST DAY to purchase  Homecoming Dance tickets. Tickets will be sold on Main Street during  all lunch shifts.
