**Attention Sophomores and Juniors: Interested in the every day affairs and  events of Frederick County Public Schools? Have you considered running for the  Student Member of the Board of Education position/election this  Spring? Applications and information can be found on the FCPS website or  please see Mr. Burch for details! Elections coming up this Spring! 

**Want to make some awesome slime and have fun? The National Art Honor  Society is sponsoring a fundraiser for art scholarships. The event will be held  November 4th, at 6:00pm in room A211, & the cost is $15.00 per person. You can  make up to 3 slimes to take home with you. All ages are welcome, so bring your friends & family & have a good time! You must pre-register by November 3rd  at LNAHS.REPL.CO/SLIME-NIGHT. Or contact Mr. Madenspacher. Pay at the  event by cash or check only. 

**A reminder about cafeteria lines—students cannot wear or bring  backpacks/bookbags in the cafeteria lines. Please leave backpacks & bookbags  at your table!  

**The Science National Honor Society will meet in Room A139 today during PREP  to vote for club officers. 

Also, Science NHS will have their yearbook club picture taken Monday, October  25 at 2:30 pm at the softball field bleachers.
