Senior Countdown 2019: Fellowship of Christian Athletes say “Hallelujah!” to 10 days left for seniors
May 8, 2019
Only ten more days left for seniors as of May 8, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes senior members are excited to embark on new beginnings. As their high school days come to a close, enjoy their last moments by sharing their faith and playing their favorite sports.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is an organization that strives to teach young adults about the Christian faith through the influence of coaches and students. The senior leaders this year are Joey and Michael Bromley.
Joey Bromley has been a part of FCA for all four years of high school. “My favorite part about FCA is all the friends I’ve made through the years and coming together to spread our faiths in our school.”
The members of FCA help serve at events like Lancer Candy Lane, Operation Christmas Child, and host their monthly prayer event, “See You at the Pole.”
The club advisers are Ms. Kathy Becker and Coach Mike Rich. They help the student leaders plan events and encourage them to spread their faith to their peers while promoting student athletes.
“This experience has helped me appreciate how God can work through aspects of your life like sports to bring people together,” said Bromley.
If you are interested in joining FCA next year or being a leader? You can sign up at the club fair next year or talk to Mrs. Becker.
