Last night at their first competition of the season, our JV and Varsity Cheer teams won first place. Varsity also were Grand Champs of the entire competition with the highest overall score. Great way to start the season! They compete again on Saturday at Arundel High School and next Monday, October 21, at 7:00 p.m at the FCPS County Competition. 

Come out Thursday October 17 and support the Girls Varsity Soccer team against Oakdale! The first 50 people will receive a free Rita’s coupon. Also, make sure you stay for the halftime show to see if you win a prize. Hope to see you there. 

FCPS encourages female high school students interested in STEM* careers to attend the WISE (Women in Science and Engineering) meeting Wednesday, October 16 from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m at the FCPS Earth and Space Science Lab. Meet Lifebridge Health’s Carroll Hospital Center Medical Director Dr. Darlene Gabeau!

Just a reminder that tomorrow is PSAT testing day. Students taking the PSAT should report directly to their testing room Wednesday morning. Schedules of name and location are posted by attendance and in the cafeteria. First block runs 7:30 a.m to 9:20 a.m and second block runs 9:25 a.m to 11:15 a.m tomorrow. There will be No PREP.
