On April 29 the jazz band played during 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lunch shift. The band is directed by Mr. Kevin Lloyd, and he was very excited to have them play for students that do not usually hear  the Jazz band.

The band played several standards including,  “It don’t mean a thing,” “Ain’t Misbehavin,” “Cantaloupe Island,” and “Here There and Everywhere.”

“The music was super fun to have during lunch, and it gave out good vibes to us in the lunchroom” said Gabbi Young.

The Jazz band plays multiple types of jazz including Latin, Swing, and Rock. They perform in gigs such as All County Jazz Festival and Jazz Ensemble Concert.
