On December 18, the boys varsity basketball team lost to Oakdale Bears. The final score was 85-66. This was the Lancers’ fourth game which ended their winning streak. In recent games they beat Walkersville 76-29, Frederick 76-72, and North Hagerstown 61-53.

The top scorers of the night was Christian Nolan,scoring 18 points. Bennett Formulak scored 17 points.

The Lancers did better in the second half, but Oakdale started off with a better lead when Lingaore kept fouling on them.

Varsity Coach O’ Conner said “The team needs to keep improving in practice and apply those skills to their games.”

The next game is away against South Hagerstown on January 2.
