The Linganore High School mathematics honor society, Mu Alpha Theta, is accepting applications. Please pick up an application outside Mrs. Purgason’s room, A140. All applications are due Friday, September 28.

Wednesday, September 26, is the annual See You At the Pole event.  Please join the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at 7 AM at the Flag Pole for a morning of prayer for our school, community, and country.

The Spring yearbook Supplements are now available! If you ordered a yearbook in the spring and did not pick up your yearbook Supplement, please stop by room A206 and see Mrs. Bozzonetti.

Just a reminder, Senior Picture Retakes are on Wednesday September 26th and Thursday September 27th from 2:00pm to 8:00 pm. Please see Ms.Cline in the front office for your picture time.

This week is Start With Hello Week! Start With Hello Week raises awareness about social isolation. This is the perfect opportunity to kick off the school year and engage students in a culture of inclusiveness!

 WISE is a program developed to encourage females to participate in the fields of science and engineering; however, all students, male and female, are welcome to participate. Come listen to featured guest speaker Dr. Amy Hall, PhD, and biologist from the Food and Drug Administration. Enjoy a fall theme, science door prizes and a hands-on STEM challenge!

Any junior or senior interested in becoming a member of the Science National Honor Society can enter the Science NHS Google Classroom site using the Code listed below to access the application form and volunteer workdays opportunities.  See Mr. Sunkel in Room A139 to sign up for the workdays.

This month is Hispanic Heritage Month. We will be recognizing those of Hispanic descent who have accomplished amazing things during their lifetime. Today we will be recognizing ​​​Luis Miramontes. Miramontes helped to co-invented one of the first contraceptive pills. He was named one of the top chemical engineers of all time in 2011.

Homecoming tickets are available during lunch in main street. They will only be on sale until September 28th. Tickets are 20 dollars.

Tonight Linganore boys varsity soccer are playing at home against oakdale. The game starts at 7:00 pm. Girls varsity plays away at oakdale at 7:00 pm.
