There will be an informational meeting in A222, on Tuesday, November 13th right after school until 2:45 for anyone interested in learning more about it.

Linganore’s production of Almost Maine opens this Thursday! You wouldn’t want to miss this show!

On Wednesday, November 14th, the Harry Potter Alliance is hosting a Quidditch match. If you are interested or have any questions, see Ms. Thompson in the learning commons.

If you would like to have your car washed, the Linganore Boys’ Soccer team is having a car wash fundraiser on Saturday, November 3rd from 11 am to 3 pm. It will be held just outside Pizza Hut in Mt. Airy on Saturday. Come out to support the team.

Plans are underway for the 2019 Linganore High School Winterguard. Students will learn dance choreography as well as routines using rifles, flags, and sabers, and we will compete throughout the region this winter. An organizational meeting will be held on November 15th with auditions on November 27th. If you’re interested in joining this award-winning group of performing artists, sign up outside Mr. Dye’s room by November 15th.

The girls’ varsity soccer team won 2-0 against Tuscarora. They will be advancing to their next game in the playoffs against Thomas Johnson High School here at home tomorrow at 6:00 pm.

The boys’ varsity soccer team had an unfortunate loss in their playoff game against North Hagerstown, 4 to 0.
