Today in Hispanic heritage month we recognize Shakira. A Colombian singer, songwriter, dancer, businesswoman, record producer, and more. She has produced and sung many hits and is considered a wildly successful artist.
Spirit Week started yesterday with PJ day. It continues today with Throwback Tuesday where students dressed in outfits from the past. The events coming up that will give you a chance to show your school spirit with Wacky Wednesday, class color Thursday and Red, black, and bow day on Friday.
Students wishing to have a quiet study hall during the Pep Rally may sign up in the Learning Commons by the end of school Thursday. A limited number of students will be allowed. Students will be expected to work quietly on their own during this time.
This week’s poll of the week is favorite spirit day: Pajama Day, Throwback Tuesday, Wild and Wacky Wednesday, Class Color Day, or Red Black and Bow Day. You can vote online by visiting LHS Journalism’s Twitter page. Results will be announced on Friday.
