Due to damaged bleachers in the student section of the stadium, several rows will be blocked off at tonight’s game. No one is permitted in that area. In order to maintain a safe experience for all, it is important that spectators do not stand on the benches in the bleachers or jump up and down on the floorboards. Please continue to show your positive school spirit while ensuring your safety.

Do you like Bikes?  Then you should join the new Linganore high school bike club! In this club, you will learn about bicycles, plan bike rides, hear guest speakers, and make friends in the community. This club is open to those who ride or are interested in BMX, BMX racing, Mountain biking, Downhill Mountain Biking, Road cycling, Cyclocross, or any other sect of biking. Members of the Science National Honor Society are reminded of the community service opportunity this Saturday, October 13  from 9-12 noon at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary. Students are encouraged to bring a standard trash can to place the invasive plants in.  Trash bags will not be used this year. See Mr.Sunkel with any questions.

On this day of Hispanic heritage month, we are recognizing Lionel Messi, who is a famous and accomplished professional soccer player. Messi is the captain of both the Spanish club Barcelona soccer team and the Argentina national team.
