Seniors, if you need to pick or buy a yearbook please see Mrs. Bozzonetti in room A206 during 2nd or 3rd block or after school. Price $85, cash only. If you’re an underclassmen, stop by the yearbook table on Main Street on Monday to pick up your pre-ordered yearbook during all lunch shifts. Extras will go on sale June 6 after school in room A206.

This Friday, May 25th, the Linganore Boys and Girls Lacrosse teams are hosting a Powderpuff game in benefit of the nonprofit organization, Lacrosse the Nations. This is the first fundraiser game between the two programs, and they want all of you to attend! The event will start at 5:30pm at LOUYAA Park (see flyers around school for address). Any donation at the door will get you entrance. There will be snacks and t-shirts for sale, along with raffle prizes you can enter to win!

Bring your friends and family in town to support a great cause as you watch the girls take on the boys in Linganore’s first-ever powderpuff! *T-shirts will be on sale at lunch throughout the week, so be sure to grab yours before they sell out! T-shirts are $18 each, with all proceeds donated to the nonprofit.

Tonight is the Linganore spring dance recital at 7 PM. Dance styles range from jazz to modern, even with an appearance of 80’s/90’s Hip-Hop. The students have been choreographing and dancing up a storm these past few weeks, and are excited to present their dances. Tickets are $5 at the door for adults, and $2 for students. Don’t miss it!

On June 16th and June 18th, Megan Reesman is hosting her Gold Award Event, “Supporting our Veterans.” Teen helpers are needed and can earn 3 to 15 community service hours. Congratulations to Linganore Softball on their win in the Class 3A Sectional 12 to 2 against North Hagerstown. They will play the winner of the match against Westminster and Manchester Valley here at Linganore at 5:30. Good luck Lancers!
