Today is College or Sport Team day for Linganore’s Spring Spirit Week. Tomorrow is the last chance you have to participate by showing your Lancer Pride for Lancer Day. Make sure you join in on the fun.

Today is the Senior Picnic. Seniors will be released from fourth block to go to the cafeteria. When dismissed students should take all their belongings with them, they will not be returning to period 4. Yearbook distribution will begin at this time. Underclassman who have not purchased a yearbook can see Ms. Bozzonetti starting tomorrow.  

Last night the World Languages department hosted honor society inductions for the French, German, and Spanish honor societies. The event honored students for outstanding achievement in one of these languages, inducting newcomers, presenting musical performances, and rewarding seniors with graduation chords. Congratulations to all the students for their hard work and this successful event.

Seniors, tomorrow is the application deadline for students to apply for the Ken Doyle Memorial Scholarship from .If you are a Senior and participated on a Varsity Team Sport you are eligible to apply for a $1000 Scholarship. Two scholarships will be awarded. For an application, visit the link below in naviance.  Make sure you turn your application into student services. The award winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 29, at Senior Salute.

Members of Rho Kappa are reminded that point sheets are due to Ms. Richardson or Mr. Burch by Monday, May 21st. Don’t miss the deadline!

Monday, May 21st is the Dance Showcase. Come out to support LHS performing arts at this wonderful event. It begins at 7 in the theater.

Yesterday Boys Varsity Lacrosse played Westminster in regional finals and unfortunately took a loss 9 to 10 in overtime. Congratulations on a hard-fought season Linganore LAX.

The Varsity Softball sectional finals have been rescheduled to today due to weather. The team will compete against North Hagerstown at home starting at 4:30. Have a great game ladies!

Today is the MPSSAA Regional Meet for Outdoor Track. Both Boys and Girls Varsity will participate at Watkins Mill starting at 4:00. Good luck to all the Lancers competing.
