Attention Band Students, If you are interested in participating in the solo and ensemble festival, Please sign up in the band room by Friday. Anyone interested in the West Virginia University Honor Band being held February 8-10 in Morgantown should sign up in the band room by Thursday of this week.

If you’re travelling to Walt Disney World with the band in March, please sign up for your room by this Friday. The rooming list is posted outside the band room. Please see Mr. Lloyd with any questions.

Ms. York is collecting donations of stuffed animals to be given to a local fire department as comfort objects for children in need. The stuffed animals should be approximately 12 inches or smaller. Donations can be dropped off in Ms. York’s Room, C204, from now until this Friday January 5th.

Students interested in choreographing or directing in Linganore Drama’s production of Footloose should sign up outside Room C224. Interviews for the positions will be held next Wednesday, January 10th starting at 2:25. No materials will be required for the interview.

Members of the Science National Honor Society are reminded that the club yearbook photo will be taken this Friday, January 5th.

Linganore will be hosting an open volleyball tournament throughout next week to raise money for learning for life. To participate, each player must fill out a participation form at lunch and turn it in by Friday, January 5th. The price to participate is five dollars per person and teams must consist of six or seven players. If you are not an athlete, but want to support the cause, you can make a donation on thursday or friday during all lunch shifts.

Sophomores, rosters have been posted in the cafeteria and on Main Street for English 10 PARCC Testing times and room numbers. The test dates are Friday, January 5th, Monday

Linganore Basketball will take on South Hagerstown Tonight. Girls play away and Boys play at home. Both JV games start at 5:30 while Varsity starts at 7:00.Let’s take home some wins.

Indoor Track will also be competing today. The meet is at Hagerstown Community College and begins at 6:00. Good luck Lancers!
