Tonight is Registration Information Night. The video you watched this morning, along with other videos, and a link to the FCPS course guide, will be posted on our LHS website this afternoon, as resources for your use. Additionally, we will have a registration fair tomorrow during lunch shifts, so that you may ask questions of department members. We look forward to seeing you this evening. Registration Information Night begins at 6:00 pm.

The movie “Selma” will be played in the auditorium during PREP from Monday, February 12th, through Wednesday, February 14th.

Members of the Science National Honor Society are needed to help at the Oakdale Elementary School Science Night on Thursday, March 15th. Volunteers would help run science stations. If interested, please contact Mrs. Laura Hauns at [email protected].

High school students interested in forestry, fisheries, wildlife, or park management are invited to join teens from across the Mid-Atlantic at the week-long Natural Resources Careers Camp, being held from July 22nd through July 28th, at the Hickory Environmental Education Center in Garrett County, Maryland. For more information, see Mr. Sunkel in room A139.

Tomorrow evening, the girls’ basketball teams will take on Tuscarora at home. JV plays at 5:30 pm and Varsity plays at 7:00 pm. We will also recognize our outstanding senior girls during Senior Night, which will begin before their 7:00 pm game. We hope you will come out to support the teams!

Boys’ basketball will also take on Tuscarora tomorrow evening at Tuscarora. JV plays at 5:30 pm and Varsity plays at 7:00 pm. Good luck, boys!
