On the last day of African American history month, we express our hope that during this month you’ve learned something new about African American history and about the contributions of African Americans to American society. We look forward to the day when special attention is not necessary to highlight the accomplishments of African Americans but rather, accomplishments by Black Americans are included in our textbooks and general learning. It is only right that this should be so because Black History IS American History. Thanks for listening.
The annual National Honor Society Talent Show is March 21st at 7 pm in the LHS auditorium. Sign-up to perform in the show outside room C-1-2-1 or C-1-2-3. Auditions will take place on March 5 and 7 at 2:30 pm in the band room. Themed baskets such as Movie Night, Lancer Gear, and Fast Food Gift Cards will be raffled off the night of the show. All proceeds to benefit Lily Weaver.

Ms. Cassidy and students in the Innovation Lab have developed SAT practice for students, especially those taking the SAT on March 7. Students will be able to find it on the Linganore Website under Quick Links, SAT practice.
Tonight night the Austin Addiction center will be hosting, “Introduction to the Enemy.” This addiction awareness presentation will take place here in Linganore’s auditorium at 6:30. Admission is free.
All boys that plan to try out for baseball are encouraged to attend the after school meeting today after school. Be sure to bring a hard copy of your physical.
Players trying out for the Boys Varsity Tennis Team will have a meeting on Thursday, March 1st at 2:30 p.m. in Room A139.
Mock trial beat Middletown last night and are undefeated in the regular season!!!!
Sofia Schuller, Emily Albertson, MaKenzie Llewellyn, Mikayla McFarland, Brenna Lindsay and Michael Mauro were stellar!
They will go against Frederick next Wednesday in the semi-finals.
The lady lancers basketball team last night defeated Thomas Johnson in a close game 56 to 51. They will play Frederick High at home tomorrow.
