School safety is in the forefront of our minds right now. Here are a couple reminders to keep notice of…
One, Do not prop doors open. If you happen to walk by one and see it open, close it. Two, Do not let anyone into the building, including students and staff. It is easy for someone to slip in behind them.
Three, Do not wander the hallways or hang out in unsupervised areas.
Four, If you hear something, say something. It can be to an administrator, Deputy Jones, or any trusted staff member.
Five, If you see an adult or unfamiliar face in the building without a badge or visitors pass, report it.
And finally six, All students coming in late for an FCC course, from an internship, or from CTC must enter in through the front door.
Today in Black history month, we would like to celebrate our very own Ani Boghossian-James. Last year, Ani started the African American Culture Club here at Linganore High School.
In the club, Ani has given us a way to reflect on similarities and differences between cultures here at Linganore. She has helped club members develop important life skills, such as valuing diversity and critical thinking, while fostering a strong sense of community among club members. In the future, Ani will be apart of linganore’s history that student will be able to look back on and appreciate.
Amelia Draper will be here at Linganore tomorrow during PREP for those whose signed up.
