The Linganore Performing Arts Department’s Footloose has its opening night tonight! Come check out the amazing show the cast and crew has worked so hard on!

Congratulations to the Linganore Envirothon Team consisting of Logan Breidenstein, Jack DuBro, Joe Kolick, Megan Pazzanese and Rosie Tilmont for placing 6th out of 13 teams at the Frederick County Envirothon Competition held at Catoctin State Park on Tuesday.

Senior, Sarah Hall, is conducting a service project where she is collecting lightly used shoes and donating them to One World Running who refurbishes the shoes and distributes them around the world.  There is a collection basket for donations outside of Ms. Becker’s office in Student Services. All donations must be made by April 30th.

28th Annual Art Show is tonight in the auxiliary gym from 5:30-7 pm. The art show will remain open on Friday during 1st, 2nd and 3rd periods only. Please stop by and see all the fabulous works of art from our many talented students!!

Prom tickets are available for purchase in all lunch shifts. Seniors who are not at Linganore during lunch may purchase prom tickets from Ms. Larson in Student Services on Friday, April 27 between 7:00 and 7:20 am.

Attention band and color guard students, Auditions for Drum Major and Section Leaders will be held after school on Thursday, May 10. Audition materials may be picked up from Mr. Lloyd beginning Thursday, April 26.

The Linganore FFA is having a fundraiser at Jersey Mike’s tomorrow. You just have to show them this photo on your phone to receive credit.

The baseball and softball games from last night were postponed due to the weather.

The girls lacrosse teams are playing tonight! The JV team is playing TJ at home and the Varsity team is playing Brunswik at home. It is also senior night so be sure come come early to celebrate our senior athletes.

Both boys teams will playing facing off against brunswik tonight in away games. The JV game starts at 5:30 and the Varsity game starts at 7. Good luck boys!
