The Linganore Performing Arts Department’s Footloose had its opening night last night! The cast and crew put on an excellent performance! There are shows tonight, tomorrow and Sunday so make sure you don’t miss out on this great opportunity.

Attention student drivers:  Parking is at a premium, so it’s important that you park in your designated color zone!  Every day the parking lots are checked for parking permits with the color zone you were assigned when you first received your parking permit.  Any zone color mismatches or other parking violations will be issued tickets. If you have any questions about where you should be parking, please contact Mrs. Shapiro in the front office.

Green Valley Elementary School is looking for volunteers for their annual Green Valley Carnival on Saturday, May 19th. Volunteers will be needed for set-up, running games, and cleaning up after the event. This is a great opportunity to help the community and get volunteer hours if needed. Band and color guard students, Auditions for Drum Major and Section Leaders will be held after school on Thursday, May 10. Audition materials may be picked up from Mr. Lloyd beginning Thursday, April 26.

The Linganore FFA is having a fundraiser at Jersey Mike’s today. You just have to show them this photo on your phone to receive credit.

The girls lacrosse teams played last night. The JV team played TJ and won with a score of 19 to 1. The Varsity team played against Brunswick for senior night winning with a score of 20 to 15. Great job ladies!

The boys lacrosse teams played against Brunswick last night. Both teams took convincing victories with JV winning 14 to 1 and the varsity team winning 17 to 4. Good games boys!

Linganore’s tennis teams will be playing against Urbana at home. The games will start at 4 so be sure to stop by the tennis court to support the teams.

The Varsity baseball and softball teams will be playing in exciting rivalry matchups against Urbana. The games will be played at home and they start at 4:30. Good luck lancers!
