On April 6th the theater department will be putting on The Addams Family. One of the most popular high school productions, for the past two months a cast of over 25 actors and actresses have been rehearsing after school. 

The Addams Family will open on April 6th at 7:00 PM. See Lucas, Wednesday and the rest of the cast act out a hilarious story. Shows are also on April 7 at 7:00 PM, April 8 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and April 9 at 2:00 PM.  Tickets are online. 

The musical has many moving parts,including singing and dancing, but acting is the base of the show and a cast has been working hard to memorize lines to deliver the story.

Jacob Blue, a freshman, said, “My favorite part of the play is probably meeting all sorts of new people like the actors who play my family members in the show.”

Jacob plays Lucas Beineke. The show revolves around Wednesday, played by Emma Wynkoop, and Lucas, Wednesday’s fiance. Wednesday brings Lucas and the rest of the Beinekes home to the strange Addams house. The odd Addams and normal Beinekes don’t get along at first and hilarious situations then play out throughout the Addams Mansion.
