On October 4th, the JV Football team entered the competition with a 4-1 record against the Oakdale Bears JV team at home.

We were ahead of the bears the entire game thanks to running backs Xander McClure and Brady Domroe, scoring two rushing touchdowns. Wide receiver Leyton Eddins caught a toudown pass to put the Lancers up 25-0.

One of the Lancers’ guards, Scott Hummel said, “We kept our heads in the game and din’t take them [Oakdale] lightly or they’re catch up. We also had to continue being disciplined throughout the game to allow both the offense and defense to execute smoothly.”

The Bears did score a touchdown but couldn’t come back as the Lancers dominate 25-8. The JV team will have a bye this week to prepare for a home game against Middletown at home on Wednesday, October 18th.
