There are a lot of missing items that have been turned into the Lost and Found. If you’re missing cups, shoes, sweatshirts, jewelry or other items, please stop by the front office. All remaining items will be donated by next week.

Shepherd University will be hosting a Music Major for a Day event on Monday, October 9th. See Mr. Lloyd in D105 for an application.

The month of October the Maryland State Food Bank is hosting a “Kids Helping Kids” challenge among all schools in Maryland.  The challenge is to collect as many non-perishable food items as we can to help stock our local food banks for the winter. Linganore has registered as an official participant!  This food drive will be a challenge among prep classes. The prep class that brings in the most items will receive Krispy Kreme Donuts!

Victor O’Neill Studios will be here on Tuesday, October 17th to retake pictures for any student that has not yet been photographed or received their correct student ID. If you weren’t satisfied with your original photos, you must return your old package at retakes

Seniors, this is your last chance to order 2017 senior portraits. Galleries will be deleted after October 15th. Place your final orders now for free shipping.

Science National Honors Society members will have an opportunity to earn science related community service this weekend. If you would like to volunteer this Saturday, at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary, see Mr. Sunkel in room A139 for directions or additional information

Yesterday JV and Varsity Field Hockey both played against Urbana. Both JV and Varsity lost in tough matches. Better luck next time Lancers.

JV Football faced off against Oakdale last night and won 25-8

Today girls volleyball will play against Urbana at home tonight. JV starts at six and Varsity will start at seven. Good luck ladies!

Soccer teams will compete against Urbana tonight! Boys will play at Urbana and girls will play at home. Both JV games start at 5:30 and Varsity games at 7:00. Come out to support your fellow lancers in this exciting rivalry match!
