The community show has already provided an amazing opportunity for you to showcase your skills in agriculture, culinary arts, fine arts, and much more. Here are some of the highlights.

Shepherd University will be hosting a Music Major for a Day event on Monday, October 9th. See Mr. Lloyd in D105 for an application. Shepherd will also be hosting their annual Honor Band starting Friday, January 12 through Sunday, January 14. Interested Juniors and Seniors must sign up in the band room by today.

If you have an interest in public speaking and would like to develop or hone your skills in dramatic performance, and many more speech categories, join the Forensics League starting tomorrow, October 4th, from 2:30 to 4:00. Meetings will be Mondays and Wednesdays in Student Services.

Juniors taking the PSAT will complete their pre-administration papers today during PREP.  Report to the cafeteria after reporting to PREP.

Tomorrow Linganore will host a mini college fair during all lunch shifts.  Please take a few minutes to visit colleges of your interest and welcome our guests to Linganore.

Victor O’Neill Studios will be here on Tuesday, October 17th to retake pictures for any student that has not yet been photographed or received their correct student ID. If you weren’t satisfied with your original photos, you must return your old package at retakes.

Members of the Science National Honor Society are reminded that there will be an opportunity for students to earn science-related community service by working at the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary this Saturday, October 7th. For directions or additional information see Mr. Sunkel in room A139.

Ms. Blum would like to see seniors with the last names D-I in the auditorium this Wednesday during PREP.  This is related to life after high school, applying to college, etc.  If you are unable to make it, please see her!

Varsity girls soccer had an impressive shutout 8-0 against south hagerstown last night with fiona rowan score two goals

Varsity Volleyball beat south hagerstown 3-0.
