The third annual Quidditch Tournament will be held Wednesday, May 17th.  Teams of 7-9 can sign up in the Media Center. Teams must have at least two of each gender playing at all times. The cost is $25 per team.  A limited number of teams are allowed so sign-up early.  If you have any questions, see Ms. Thompson in the Media Center.

Pre-ordered yearbooks will be distributed to seniors during the Senior Picnic on Monday, May 15th, during fourth block.  Yearbooks will be available for seniors to purchase, on that day only, for $80 cash.  Otherwise, seniors can pick up or purchase a yearbook after May 15th, in room A206, before or after school, or during first or third blocks.

Attention underclassman:  Pre-ordered yearbooks will be distributed during lunch on Friday, June 2nd.  Extra yearbooks will be available for purchase, on a first come basis, on Thursday, June 1st, starting at 2:15 pm in room A206, for $80 cash or check made payable to LHS.

Attention all students who are PARCC testing tomorrow afternoon:  You will be dismissed from PREP at 10:30 am to eat lunch. Students must report to testing rooms by 11:05 am.

Linganore’s Jazz and Percussion band will be hosting a concert tonight at 7:00 pm in the theater. Entrance fee is a donation of $5.00.

Tonight, the Varsity softball team will be hosting a fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings on Route 26 from 6:00-9:00 pm. Fifteen percent of the food sales will go to the softball program. Make sure to tell your waiter you are there to support LHS. Come out and support the team!

The SGA has a donation box at the front of the cafeteria, during every lunch shift, for the American Cancer Society’s ‘Relay for Life’.  For every dollar that is donated, that person receives a chance to win two Shawn Mendes tickets!  You have until Friday, May 12th, to donate.

The journalism class is hosting a contest for seniors to win concert tickets! Come to room C203 and answer 17 questions for the Class of 2017, with the theme of “Oh, the places you’ll go!” The winner will be announced during the senior picnic.
