The No-Talent Talent Show, previously postponed, is back!  Witness Linganore’s lip-sync battle this Monday, May 15th!  Be there or be square. Admission is free.

If there are any woodworking students who have fishing rod racks in the display cases from the fall or spring semesters, please pick them up asap, or else they will be sold!  See Mr. Rudderow to get your rod racks.

Attention seniors:  Please return all library materials to the media center by Friday, May 19th.  If you are a senior with a Chromebook, please be prepared to turn in your Chromebook during PREP on Thursday, May 18th.  If you would like to return your Chromebook before next Thursday, you may bring it to the media center.

Also for seniors – all obligations must be cleared by Tuesday, May 23rd, in order to receive your diploma at graduation.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Shapiro in the front office.

Juniors and seniors attending Prom are reminded that guests who do not attend Linganore High School must present a photo ID when they check in at Prom.

Pre-ordered yearbooks will be distributed to seniors during the Senior Picnic on Monday, May 15th, during fourth block.  Yearbooks will be available for seniors to purchase, on that day only, for $80 cash.  Otherwise, seniors can pick up or purchase a yearbook, after May 15th, in room A206, before or after school, or during first or third blocks.

Pre-ordered yearbooks for underclassmen will be distributed during lunch on Monday, May 22nd.  Extra yearbooks will be available for purchase, on a first come basis, on Thursday, June 1st, starting at 2:15 pm in room A206, for $80 cash or check made payable to LHS.

All current NHS members who would like to apply to be an officer, must attend the meeting on Monday, May 15th, at 2:15 pm in room C123.  Current officers are expected to attend.

The third annual Quidditch Tournament will be held Wednesday, May 17th.  Teams of 7-9 can sign up in the Media Center. Teams must have at least two of each gender playing at all times. The cost is $25 per team.  A limited number of teams are allowed, so sign-up early.  If you have any questions, see Ms. Thompson in the Media Center.

In sports today:  Good luck to the boys’ baseball team who will be participating in the Varsity sectional quarterfinal today at 4:30 pm at home.  Also, good luck to the boys’ lacrosse team who will be participating in their Varsity sectional quarterfinal today at 6:00 pm at home.
