You only have one week left to sign up for the No-Talent Talent Show!  Sign-ups are outside of Mrs. Smithhisler’s room D101.  All you need to write is the title of the song you’re lip syncing and the people in your group. Here are some songs that are taken so far: Promiscuous by Nelly Furtada, I’m Not Crying by Flight of the Conchords, and Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Get a group and sign up today!

Tonight is paint night for the National Art Honor Society!  The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for students. The event starts at 6:00 pm at Linganore.

This week is National FFA week. The Linganore Chapter is one of the largest chapters in the state.  To show our spirit and love for them, Linganore has many activities planned. Today is Lumberjack Day and tomorrow will be FFA wear. The national colors are National Blue and Corn Gold, so either wear your FFA t-shirt, or something blue and gold. This week, there will be a contest with a chance to win gift cards to Dunkin’ Donuts, Cold Stone Creamery, and Subway. There will be a stuffed animal cow placed somewhere in the school. To win, you must locate the cow, take a selfie, and the picture with the most creative caption will receive a prize. Upload the picture to Twitter and tag @LinganoreFFA to participate. And now, for sports related news…

On Saturday, the indoor color guard placed second with a score of 64.57 at their competition at Brunswick High School. This weekend, they’ll be traveling to Waynesboro Area Senior High School in Pennsylvania.

Anyone interested in outdoor track should attend the pre-season meeting today after school from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm in room A136.

Any student interested in playing for the girls or boys Varsity tennis teams must complete their online physical by the first day of tryouts on Wednesday, March 1st.

Congrats to Teddy, Aidan, Earl, Joey, Michael, Dalton, Tristan, John and Ryan for qualifying for Wrestling Regionals this Saturday, February 25th, at Milford Mill!

The Varsity tennis teams are hosting their annual Quarter Auction Fundraiser on Friday, March 10th.  Doors open at 6:00 pm.  The event starts at 7:00 pm.  IN10SE BBQ will be providing dinner.
