Members of the Mu Alpha Theta decorate ornaments.
On December members of the math honor society, Mu Alpha Theta, gathered to make Christmas ornaments to get in the festive spirit and to get to know each other better.
It was also a way for students to get a break from homework and studying.
Kate Querry, a member of MAT, said, “It was fun getting to talk to the other members and to do something festive while also being creative.”
Carolyn Payne, a senior and President of Mu Alpha Theta, said, “It was great to get some of the MAT members together and have fun making ornaments, especially since it helped a lot of us destress before our finals this week.”
They also made cookies to snack on while decorating ornaments.
