There are a lot of missing items that have been turned into the Lost and Found. If you’re missing cups, shoes, sweatshirts, jewelry or other items, please stop by the front office. All remaining items will be donated by next week.

Thank you to Ms. Diggs and Mr. Lloyd for adopting classrooms in Texas to help with rebuilding efforts in specific classrooms!  If anyone else is willing to adopt a class, please notify Mr. Brown.

Linganore has been collecting money in a variety of ways for the Tape Poff drive at lunch. As of today we have collected over 1200 dollars to help with the relief and rebuild efforts for the Shaws! Thank you to everyone who is helping with the efforts to support those in need.

The 11th Annual Strut Your Mutt Dog Show took place at the community show on Monday. Among the 9 dog participants, winners include Megan Ford for Cutest Dog, Garrett Reese for Best Trick and Prettiest Eyes and many others. Congratulations Lancers.

The Maryland State Food Bank is hosting a “Kids Helping Kids” challenge among all Maryland schools throughout the month of October. The challenge is to collect as many non-perishable food items as possible to help stock local food banks for the winter. Linganore has registered as an official participant!  This food drive will be a challenge among prep classes. The prep class that brings in the most items will receive Krispy Kreme Donuts!

Seniors, this is your last chance to order 2017 senior portraits. Galleries will be deleted after October 15th. Place your final orders now for free shipping.

And now here’s a message from Mrs. Smithhisler about Dramapalooza.

Congratulations to Payton Smith! Payton is the first female in Linganore’s history to win the Frederick County Golf Championship Individual Medalist.  Payton shot 78 at Cluster Spires on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd.

Congratulations to Drew Twillman who shot 75 and Ryan McFadden who shot 77, both posting top tens as individuals. LHS finished 3rd in the county.

Both JV and Varsity Volleyball took a loss to Urbana last night. Better luck next time girls.  

The girls and boys soccer teams also faced off against Urbana yesterday. Boys JV took a loss 3-2 and Girls JV tied 1-1. Girls Varsity lost 1-0 and Boys Varsity…

Come out and support Varsity football as they take on Oakdale. They game starts at 7:00 at Oakdale High. Good luck Linganore!
