Attention NHS members: There will be a talent show planning meeting tomorrow, February 9th, at 2:30 pm in room C221. The monthly NHS meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 10th, at 2:30 pm in the LHS Auditorium. Attendance is mandatory.

Juliet Jackman and Lexi Baughman are finalists in the Photographer’s Forum Magazine’s 2016 College and High School Photography Contest. Make sure to congratulate them.

And now for sports…

The boys’ varsity basketball team narrowly defeated the Oakdale Bears last Friday, winning 53 to 51. Thomas Lang finished the game with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Nice job boys.

The boys’ indoor track team competed at the 3A West Regional Championships last Thursday.

Congratulations to these state qualifiers who will compete in the State Championships on February 16th: Micah Hewitson in the 1600m and 3200m run, Michael Belmaggio in the 3200m run, LarsEklund in the high jump, and the 4×400 relay team of Will Nixon, Brandon Sapp, Lars Eklund andClay Buckman. The indoor track team finished 5th out of 15 teams.
