The United States Department of Energy is offering talented high school students eight week summer internships in a variety of fields, including engineering, information technology, physics, economics, business administration and many others. If you are interested in applying for this excellent opportunity, please see Mr. Brown or Ms. Radil-Harris in room C103 for more information. The application deadline is fast approaching.

LHS student drivers are reminded to park in designated parking areas and to display a LHS parking permit. You will receive a $20 fine for violations. A fine could become an obligation to the school, which could prohibit you from getting prom tickets, attending athletic events, or participating in graduation activities. The 2016 LHS Latin club t-shirt is here designed by sophomore Kyla Dungan. With this year’s sales, the Latin club hopes to send Hugh Norko and Gia Haemmerle to the National Junior Classical League convention in July. Shirts are $20 each. The Varsity tennis team will travel to Brunswick this afternoon to continue their rained out tennis match.

JV baseball will play today at home at 4:30 pm. Come out and support your baseball team. Lacrosse JV boys will play at 5:30 pm and boys Varsity lacrosse will play at 7:00 pm. They will play at Catoctin High School.

JV softball will play at home against Walkersville High School at 4:30 pm.
