Woodworking creates “cutting edge” cooking technology gifts: Photo of the Day 11/23/16

The Woodworking Department will be holding a fundraiser where they will be selling wooden cutting boards created by students and Mr. Adam Rudderow, Woodworking teacher.
The cutting boards have an intricate checkerboard design. They are made from different varieties of wood such as maple and walnut.
According to many studies, a wooden cutting board is a great alternative to the normal plastic cutting board owned by most people, as it does not retain the germs held by plastic cutting boards.
Rudderow said, “These wooden cutting boards are well made boards which will last longer than you will.”
The woodworking students have been working hard to produce these cutting boards.
Senior Micah Hewitson, a woodworking student, said, “These cutting boards are great for protecting your counter tops and are way better than preparing food directly on your granite or marble counter top.”
The boards are available in multiple patterns and colors to match your kitchen. The order forms can be found in the faculty mail room. Contact [email protected] to answer questions about price and availability.
