On December 19, the Varsity Boys basketball team hosted the Tuscarora Titans in their big match up this year.  The Titans handed the Lancers their first loss of the season. The boys basketball team is now 5-1.

The Lancers came out strong, winning the first half by one point.

The second half of the game went less smoothly.  Key Titans players stepped up and poured on the offense.  The Titans came out with the win by 13 points.  The final score was 58-45.

Nick Lang, who has big shoes to fill  because his older brother Thomas Lang graduated last year, was a very big player for the Lancers, earning 10 points.

Austin Lohnies used his speed to make steals for the Lancers and pushed the ball up the court. He had 12 points in the game.

It was a tough fight that both teams. Tuscarora and Linganore are both rebuilding from the loss of graduating seniors.

The Lancers will play South Carroll tonight at 7 at South Carroll.
