Thanks to your generosity, Latin club collected $225.86 for UNICEF last week. Thank you so much!

Yearbooks are available to order through Herff Jones until Saturday, December 31st, for $70.00.  A postcard has been mailed home with directions, or stop by room A206 (Mrs. Bozzonetti’s room) and pick up a flyer with ordering directions. Don’t miss out on the memories–order yours today!

If you are interested in spending next summer learning about marine biology and conservation, meeting people from all over the world and having fun, consider applying for the 2017 Student Summer Program at the National Aquarium in Baltimore.  Only THREE students can be nominated, so act quickly.  Pick up an application packet from Ms. Radil-Harris or Mr. Brown in room C103.

Now for sports related news…

For anyone interested in playing baseball for the Lancers in the spring, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, November 7th, at 2:30 pm in the Media Center.

Tonight, Linganore JV and Varsity cheerleaders will compete against other Frederick County cheer squads at the county competition. Doors open at 6:00 pm at Urbana High School and the competition begins at 7:00 pm. Seats will sell out, so get there early.  Please come out and support!

Last night, the Varsity girls’ soccer team beat TJ 2-1.

The JV football team takes on Catoctin at Catoctin today.

Last week, we asked, “Would you rather trick or treat?”  Treat won with 54% of the votes.
